Sensorium 2018: our first live-streamed event

Sensorium 2018, held on Saturday November 10th at the Purdue Beck Agricultural Center, was very successful. We had attendees from 11 institutions: Purdue University, University of Cincinnati, Bowling Green State University, Miami University, Indiana University, University of Illinois, Ohio State University, University of Chicago, University of Windsor, University of Louisville, and Michigan State University. Sensorium 2018 accomplished its goal: bringing together the mechanistic and the organismal side of sensory biology through high quality oral and poster presentations.
One of the highlights of Sensorium 2018 is that we live-streamed the oral presentations via Twitter for the very first time! Additionally, we were very active in Twitter by posting comments on both oral presentations and posters, accumulating close to 10K Twitter impressions. We thank all the sponsors and attendees that made Sensorium 2018 possible!
